The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Education/ECDP Program is recruiting for: TEACHER II HR-17-171 (LAPWAI) Requires Vocational/Technical applied Associates Degree in Early Childhood (AAS) or an Associate’s Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or related field (with at least 6 credited hours toward a CDA) and one (1) year related experience. Incumbent shall continue education to obtain a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) or a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in related field. Requires previous experience working with children 0-5 years of age. The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Fisheries Resources Management is recruiting for: HATCHERY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I HR-17-186 full-time regular. This position will plan, implement and supervise a full maintenance program for Dworshak National Fish Hatchery in Ahsahka, Idaho. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field. Related field and/or course work requirements defined in job expectations. An Associate’s degree in related field with six (6) years of maintenance experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree requirement. Journeyman certification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, welding or carpentry with eight (8) years maintenance experience in hatchery or re-lated field may also substitute for the Bachelor’s degree requirement. Will assist the Senior Citizens Program by providing multifac-eted systems of support services for: (1) Family caregivers; and (2) Grandparents or older individuals who are relative caregivers. Services to be provided include: information to caregivers about available services; assistance to caregivers in gaining access to the services; individual counseling and caregiver training to assist the caregivers in making decisions and solving problems relating to their caregiving roles; respite care to enable caregivers to be temporarily relieved from their caregiving responsibilities; and supplemental services, on a limited basis, to complement the care provided by caregivers. The Nez Perce Tribe Environmental Restoration and Waste Management (ERWM) is recruiting for: HANFORD PROJECT LEGAL POLICY ANALYST HR-18-107 full-time regular. Must have relevant experience with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) is preferred: as well as experience working on behalf of Indian Tribes or other governments. The ERWM Programs’ role is to protect the Tribe’s treaty-reserved right at the Hanford Site in the state of Washington, regulate air quality on the Tribes’ Reservation in the State of Idaho, and oversee emergency response planning on the Reservation. The services include representing adult criminal defendants and juveniles charged with criminal offenses. The position is supervised by The Law & Order Executive Officer. Applicants must provide evidence of their Juris Doctor degree from an accredited college of law, and of their active good standing membership in a State Bar Association. Must have CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification, or become certified within six (6) months. Knowledge of history, culture and health needs of Native American communities preferred.
