The position will provide legal defense services for Nez Perce Tribal mem-bers in criminal and certain civil matters. The position will be housed in the Nez Perce Tribal Court. Applicants must provide evidence of their Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college of law, and of their active, good-standing membership in a State Bar Association and be licensed to practice in the Tribal Court. Must have at least one (1) year documented successful litigation experience, preferably in a Tribal Court. Requires verification of successful litigation experience, preferably in Tribal Court. Re-quires verification of successful litigation experience by a letter of recommendation from the immediate supervisor, or by providing contact information from the immediate supervisor for a follow-up reference check. Must demonstrate an understanding of Tribal, federal, and state law and the multijurisdictional issues which often arise in litigation in a Tribal Court. RE-ADVERTISE: The Nez Perce Tribe Adult Education Program is recruiting for: CAREER COACH HR-14-183 Looking for a career coach for the Kamiah office to provide office and program support with education, employment and training services to an eligible Indian and Native American population residing on or near the Nez Perce reservation. This is a 9-month position between September and June, and itís part-time averaging 10-20 hours per week as needed. The career coach must demonstrate the willingness to gain the knowledge/ability to research and understand the regionsí occupational demand for labor; be familiar with current and future career pathways; and to assist customers with career planning and readiness for work and/or education training. The Nez Perce Education Department is recruiting for: VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION COUNSELOR HR-14-189 regular full-time position. Responsible to evaluate, provide counseling, employment placement, advocacy and comprehensive quality case management services for disabled American Indian clients. Conduct intake interviews and determine client eligibility. Maintain client records and insure timely and comprehensive services. Provide individual and family counseling regarding personal adjustments, client recognizing disability, client self-healing and acceptance, securing employment and building client self-confidence. Provide case management, client support services. Provide student transition services in collaboration with high school counselor and teachers. Requires Bachelors Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation (or closely related field); Masterís preferred. The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Early Childhood Development Program is recruiting for: TEACHER I HR-14-190 regular full-time. Requires high school diploma or GED, and one (1) year of experience working with children 0-5 years of age. Must have excellent demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, be computer literate and possess the ability to relate to children. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to apply early childhood education philosophy dealing with the ďwhole ChildĒ to include working with special needs children. Incumbent shall obtain CDA certification within one (1) year of appointment. Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within a reasonable time frame from date of employment. The Nez Perce Tribe social Services Department is recruiting for: VETERANS EMPLOYMENT TRAINING SPECIALIST HR-14-192 part-time regular (30 hours/week) with possibility of full-time regular. The position will provide outreach, employer recruitment, planning, development, and implementation training programs to veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and seeking employment. The training specialist must determine eligibility requirements and perform needs assessments to determine the learning/training needs of the veterans. Assist with developing and teaching training programs to promote ending homelessness, education, job training, and self-sufficiency of the clients. The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Fisheries Resource Management Ė Watershed Division: WATER-SHED RESTORATION SPECIALIST 1 HR-14-193 full-time regular based in Joseph, OR. The incum-bent will join a highly professional and experienced team working on restoring and protecting aquatic ecosystems and watersheds critically important to fisheries restoration, Nez Perce Tribal resources, and all people. This position will participate in all aspects of watershed/aquatic ecosystem, protection and restoration projects that include data collection/analysis, landowner relations, GIS analysis, environmen-tal assessments, project, design/cost-estimates, permitting, contracting, project implementation, moni-toring and evaluation, and report/grant writing. Typical projects include restoring fish passage, stream/riparian/floodplain restoration, reducing road related sedimentation, agricultural/grazing best management practices, instream flow restoration, and invasive weed control. Field duties include land-owner contact/coordination and leading field work logistics/planning/crews. Position requires coordina-tion with private, local, state, federal, and tribal entities. (Salary/DOE/Full-Time/Lapwai) Executive Director [HR-14-10] Requires Masterís Degree in Health or Business related field, five (5) years of experience at an Executive Director level, and two (2) years supervisory experience OR Bachelor degree in Health or Business related field with ten (10) years of related experience in a health care facility at Executive Director level with two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care facility. Must have experience leading the development, promotion, and implementation of learning and development of programs and policies for a large complex organization. Demonstrated ability to establish, influence and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Must have knowledge/experience in fiscal management principles and evaluating organizational operations as they relate to policies, goals, objectives and mission. Working knowledge of the federal-tribal relationship is highly desirable. Must be adaptable. Must have excellent communications skills, both oral and written, ability to handle conflict and problem resolution in a professional manner, be computer literate and have a valid driverís license with insurable record. KITCHEN SUPERVISOR - [CRC-14-046] (Gaming) (Full-time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Oversee the kitchen staff and daily operations of all food venues at the Clearwater River Casino. Responsibilities will include: inventory, ordering, and quality of control of all food items. The Kitchen Supervisor will ensure that correct food handling procedures are being followed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Must be able to obtain a valid health card and Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS for serving alcohol). COMPUTER SPECIALIST II (NETWORKING) - [CRC-14-052] (Gaming) (Full-time) - To provide technical support for personal computer, networking and telecommunication hardware. The class is responsible for assisting with the assembly, protection, and operation of computer/telecommunication networks in a gaming environment. Requires a Bachelors degree, vocational technical degree, or specialized training equivalent to satisfactory completion of four (4) years of college education with emphasis in Computers or closely related field. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires a valid driverís license with the ability to be insured under the Tribeís policy (must provide a copy of driverís license and motor vehicle report of ENTIRE driving record (MVR)). Preferred but not required are specials certifications directly relating to field such as cable termination, fiber termination, splicing, and/or software certifications. HOUSEKEEPER(S) - [HTL-14-053] (Part-time & On-call) - To clean hotel guest rooms, and all office and inside public areas of hotel and RV Park, according to set standards, providing the highest quality service to guests and staff at all times. Formal or informal education which ensures the ability to read, write , and understand oral/written instruction. Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred. Closes: 10-31-14.

GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - [HTL-14-054] (Gaming) (Part-time) - Provide prompt, courteous, efficient service to hotel guests. The incumbent of the position maintains knowledge of all in house services to answer guest inquiries. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires a valid driverís license with the ability to be insured under the Tribeís policy (must provide a copy of driverís license and motor vehicle report of ENTIRE driving record (MVR)). The class is responsible for monitoring compliance with National Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the National and Nez Perce Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards, and other established laws, regulations, rules and procedures. Requires high school diploma, GED, or specialized vocational training, including knowledge of the Nez Perce Tribe Gaming Commission Audit Manual and Internal Control Operating Procedures, and basic knowledge of criminal law. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). One year of experience in security or law enforcement preferred with superior work ethics and report writing skills. Closes: 10-31-14.

DROP CREW WORKER - [CRC-14-057] (Gaming) (Part-time) - Extracts money from gaming machines and audit revenues. The class is responsible for equipment, revenues, and shift assignments. The class works according to some procedures, but decides how and when to do things under general supervision. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, or specialized vocational training. be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Work hours will be as required or designated shifts Monday through Sunday with schedules subject to change. The incumbent of this position will assist in maintaining store operations to assure guest satisfaction and profitability as well as a positive work atmosphere. Requires high school diploma or GED.
