The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Law & Justice is recruiting for: IN-HOUSE PUBLIC DEFENDER HR-14-136 full-time regular. The position will provide legal defense services for Nez Perce Tribal mem-bers in criminal and certain civil matters. The position will be housed in the Nez Perce Tribal Court. Applicants must provide evidence of their Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college of law, and of their active, good-standing membership in a State Bar Association and be licensed to practice in the Tribal Court. Must have at least one (1) year documented successful litigation experience, preferably in a Tribal Court. Requires verification of successful litigation experience, preferably in Tribal Court. Re-quires verification of successful litigation experience by a letter of recommendation from the immediate supervisor, or by providing contact information from the immediate supervisor for a follow-up reference check. Must demonstrate an understanding of Tribal, federal, and state law and the multijurisdictional issues which often arise in litigation in a Tribal Court. Excellent legal research and writing skills are re-quired. Please provide a legal writing sample with application, and resume. This is an exempt position which includes generous health insurance and other benefits. Salary based on record of successful litigation experience and demonstrated legal expertise. Applicant must possess a valid driver’ license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s policy (If your driver’s license is not issued from Idaho; a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the state your driver’s license is issued, is required with your application.). Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (CRITFC) is currently recruiting for a Library Assistant. This is an part-time position with working approximately working 16 hrs./wk. The Library Assistant supports the provision of library services for both CRITFC and the fishery management community in the Columbia Basin through the StreamNet Project. The Nez Perce Tribe is soliciting letters of interest from all qualified persons interested in filling two positions for the Nez Perce Tribe Athletic Commission (formerly the “Boxing Commission”). These positions are on a voluntary basis and do not receive compensation. The Athletic Commission shall be responsible for regulating all professional boxing, sparring, wrestling, and other unarmed combat events held within the Nez Perce Reservation. (Salary/DOE/Full-Time/Lapwai) Mid-Level Provider [HR-14-35] Idaho licensed FNP or PA-C with DEA license obtained prior to employment. Incumbent must obtain Idaho license within one year of appointment. Must have BLS and obtain ACLS within six months of appointment, which must be kept current at all times. HOUSEKEEPER(S) - [HTL-14-053] (Part-time & On-call) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - To clean hotel guest rooms, and all office and inside public areas of hotel and RV Park, according to set standards, providing the highest quality service to guests and staff at all times. PLAYERS CLUB REPRESENTATIVE - [CRC-14-060] (Gaming) (Part-time & On-call) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Provides exceptional customer service to Players Club members while staffing the Players Club station, including communicating program features, assisting with membership registration and databases. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribes policy (must provide a copy of driver’s license and motor vehicle report of ENTIRE driving record (MVR)). Requires one (1) year of front line guest service skills. Requires two (2) years of cash handling experience. Accurately and efficiently handle cash and/or prizes for promotions. Must pass a math test before hire. Must type 25 WPM (40 WPM preferred), as demonstrated by testing prior to being hired. Proficient with Microsoft Word and data entry required. VALET ATTENDANT - [CRC-14-064] (Gaming) (Part-time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Responsible for parking, securing and retrieving customer vehicles on Nez Perce Tribal Enterprises property. Provide shuttle/cart service, information and assist customers. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribes policy (must provide a copy of driver’s license and motor vehicle report of ENTIRE driving record (MVR)).Requires (3) three months customer-service based experience. Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Must be able to safely operate vehicle in all weather conditions, including slippery snow/ice covered roads. Must be able to write reports and keep records. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to pass a physical fitness test. Closes: 12-31-14.

TRAINER - [CRC-14-065] (Gaming) (Full-time) - To train employees and assist the Employee Training & Development Manager in coordinating on-site professional trainings. Responsible for driving continuous improvement in leadership and managerial capabilities and performance through the coordination of high quality, results driven educational training programs. Requires Associates Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Business Administration or related field; (Bachelor’s Degree preferred). Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribes policy (must provide a copy of driver’s license and motor vehicle report of ENTIRE driving record (MVR)). Must be able to obtain certification in First Aid/CPR, TIPS, and Food Handlers. Requires two (2) years professional work experience in personnel development, training, personal management, or related work experience. Requires working knowledge of applicable Tribal, Federal and State laws as they apply to employment on the reservation. Must have strong organizational skills. Must have good oral communication skills, strong public speaking ability and be meticulous when communicating with internal and external guests. Must meet time sensitive deadlines. Knowledge of all regulatory training Title 31, Fin/Cen, Cash Handling preferred. Closes: 12-31-14.

LINE COOK II - [CRC-14-066] (Part-time) - To prepare all food in a quick and timely manner ensuring correct food handling and general safety of products and procedures. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and/or specialized training. Must be able to obtain a valid health card. Requires six (6) months Line Cook and/or Deli experience, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Customer service preferred. JANITOR(S) - CRC-14-067] (Full-time) - To be responsible for cleaning and orderly upkeep of the Gaming Enterprise Casinos and RV Park site, including the administrative offices at each site. Formal or informal education which ensures the ability to read, write, and understand oral/written instruction. Cleaning or janitorial experience preferred. Closes: 01-09-15.

NEZ PERCE EXPRESS (LEWISTON, ID):

DELI CLERK - [NPX-14-059] (Part-time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - To prepare and serve food and provide customer service. The class is responsible for the maintenance of food preparation. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a valid health card. Requires a short demonstration of customer service oriented work experience up to and including one month; deli experience preferred. Closes: 12-31-14.

MAINTENANCE - [NPX-14-060] (Part-time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - To be responsible for general cleaning and repairing equipment. The class works according to some procedures but decides how and when to do things under general supervision. Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s policy (must provide a copy of driver’s license and motor vehicle report of ENTIRE driving record (MVR)). Requires three (3) months experience in the custodial or general maintenance field. Closes: 12-31-14.
