The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Law & Justice is recruiting for: CHIEF JUDGE HR-15-122 This position requires a wide range of legal, administrative, management and budgetary skills. The Chief Judge presides over the Tribal Court, and hears, or assigns to other Tribal Court Associate and Pro-Tem judges, all cases heard in the Tribal Court. The Chief Judge handles all phases of civil and criminal litigation, drafts orders, opinions, memoranda and other legal documents, and fulfills all other duties required of the Chief Judge to assure an effective and fair Tribal Court. In addition, the Chief Judge supervises Associate Judges, and the Court Administrator/Chief Clerk. Requires three (3) yearsí experience as a judge, tribal court judicial experience preferred. More than five (5) years of tribal court Chief Judge experience and evidence of success in court administration, court staff supervision and court budget development is preferred. This position will plan, implement and supervise a full maintenance program for Dworshak National Fish Hatchery in Ahsahka, ID. A bache-lorís degree in a related field is required. As Associates degree in related field with six (6) years of maintenance experience may substitute for Bachelorís degree requirement. Outreach Notice: Nez Perce - Clearwater National Forests plans to fill a Small NEPA Projects Team Leader. This is a full-time permanent position with a Duty station at Kamiah, ID. Small nepa refers to projects as those that fit under a categorical exclusion from documentation in an environmental assessment or an environmental impact statement. BARTENDER - [CRC-15-030] [Gaming] (Part-time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - To provide friendly, excellent service to every customer and preparing and pouring drinks for customers and beverage servers. Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain a valid health card and complete Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (subject to complete background check). Must be 21 years of age. HEAD CHEF - [CRC-15-035] [Gaming] (Full-time) - Provides the overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the food & beverage back of house team members. The Head Chef will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and banquet team members and will coordinate the orderly operation of the front of the house working in conjunction with the Food Service Outlet Manager. The Head Chef will be responsible for all Food & Beverage Food service purchasing and inventory control. The chef will monitor and enforce food cost, portioning, preparation, and presentation procedures. The chef will practice correct food handling procedure and general sanitation of the kitchen and all areaís included. The chef will be responsible for menu development, improvement and pricing. Requires a Culinary Arts/Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school and eight years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience. GENERAL MANAGER - [CRC-15-038] [Gaming] (Full-time) - Provides overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the gaming property teams as they strive to provide the highest quality of gaming experience through providing exceptional guest service standards. The General Manager (GM) directs, administers and coordinates the activities of the Nez Perce Tribe gaming properties including all revenue centers to maximize revenues, operational efficiencies and profitability. Requires a Bachelorís degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Casino Management, Business or related field. Requires eight (8) years of work experience in gaming operations. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (subject to complete background check).
