The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Law & Justice is recruiting for: IN-HOUSE PUBLIC DEFENDER HR-14-136 full-time regular. The position will provide legal defense services for Nez Perce Tribal mem-bers in criminal and certain civil matters. The position will be housed in the Nez Perce Tribal Court. Applicants must provide evidence of their Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college of law, and of their active, good-standing membership in a State Bar Association and be licensed to practice in the Tribal Court. Must have at least one (1) year documented successful litigation experience, preferably in a Tribal Court. Requires verification of successful litigation experience, preferably in Tribal Court. Re-quires verification of successful litigation experience by a letter of recommendation from the immediate supervisor, or by providing contact information from the immediate supervisor for a follow-up reference check. Must demonstrate an understanding of Tribal, federal, and state law and the multijurisdictional issues which often arise in litigation in a Tribal Court. The Education Dept. Manager is recruiting for: FAMILY ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EDUCATION) HR14-171 full-time regular. To provide technical assistance and professional development to State Education Agency (SEA) and Local Education Agency (LEA) staff to enhance their capacity to support the engagement of families to meet the unique cultural and educational needs of K-12 American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) students. The position will implement the scope of work approved in the Nez Perce State Tribal Education Partnership (STEP) grant, funded by the federal Department of Education (DOE). Will collaborate with SEA in the administration of three (3) state formula grant programs, implemented in partner LEAís, that target improved academic achievement for disadvantaged students (Title I, Part A), school improvement (Elementary and Secondary Education Act [ESEA] ß1003[g]), and improving teacher quality (Title II, Part A). Responsible for data management and tracking systems. Requires Associates degree in Education or closely related field. Requires two years of work experience in Education or closely related field, with preference in work engaged directly with tribal students and families. Two yearís experience working in public school educational setting is preferred. Experience with Native American organizations as well as the Nez Perce culture required. The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Fisheries Resource Management Research Division is recruiting for: PROFESSIONAL V - RESEARCH SCIENTIST HR-14-172 regular full-time position located at McCall, Idaho field office. Lead statistical analysis and modeling associated with the Research Division monitoring, evaluation, and research studies. Requires a B.S. degree in fisheries research or closely related field, six (6) years of related professional experience with one (1) year of supervision, or a M.S. degree in statistics or closely related field, four (4) years of related experience with one (1) year of supervision, or an Ph.D. in fisheries research with 2 years of experience, preferably with Chinook salmon or other salmonids, and one (1) year of supervisory experience. Knowledge and experience with the supervision of biologist, field crews, advanced statistics, fish population dynamics and modeling. This position tracks and interacts on federal, state, local, and Tribal NEPA and planning documents (Environmental Impacts Statements, Forest Plan revisions, etc.) throughout the Tribes Treaty Territory that may affect watershed/aquatic ecosystem health through meeting attendance, literature reviews, providing data, professional opinion, evidence, and formal comments. Knowledge and experience with environmental compliance necessary for watershed restoration is required. Experience in Forestry, Mining, Grazing, Federal or State Land Management is highly desired. Position requires a high level of coordination with federal, state, local and Tribal entities. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

(Salary/DOE/Full-Time/Lapwai) Executive Director [HR-14-10] Requires Masterís Degree in Health or Business related field, five (5) years of experience at an Executive Director level, and two (2) years supervisory experience OR Bachelor degree in Health or Business related field with ten (10) years of related experience in a health care facility at Executive Director level with two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care facility. Must have experience leading the development, promotion, and implementation of learning and development of programs and policies for a large complex organization. Demonstrated ability to establish, influence and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Must have knowledge/experience in fiscal management principles and evaluating organizational operations as they relate to policies, goals, objectives and mission. Working knowledge of the federal-tribal relationship is highly desirable. Must be adaptable. BARTENDER - [CRC-13-069] (Gaming) (Part-Time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - To provide friendly, excellent service to every customer and preparing and pouring drinks for customers and beverage servers. Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain a valid health card and Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS for serving alcohol). Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires three months full service bar tender experience and restaurant experience preferred. WAITSTAFF - [CRC-14-030] (Part-time) - To provide efficient dinging area service to meet the needs of guests. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain a valid health card. Training and/or three month work experience preferred. Prior waiter/waitress experience preferred.Closes: Open Until Filled

F&B CASH HANDLER - [CRC-14-031] (Gaming) (Part-time) - To greet and facilitate the guest experience by operating a point of sales system. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Training and/or six (6) month work experience required. Cash handling experience preferred. Bartending or restaurant experience preferred. Prior snack bar experience preferred. Must possess excellent guest relations and customer service skills. Closes: Open Until Filled.

PLAYERS CLUB REPRESENTATIVE - [CRC-14-033] (Gaming) (Full-time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Provides excellent customer service to Players Club members while staffing the Players Club station, including communicating program features, assisting with membership registration and databases. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires a valid driverís license with the ability to be insured under the Tribeís policy (must provide a copy of driverís license and motor vehicle report of ENTIRE driving record (MVR)). Requires one (1) year of front line guest service skills. Requires two (2) years of cash handling experience. Accurately and efficiently handle cash and/or prize for promotions. Must pass a math test before hire. Must type 25 WPM (40 WPM preferred), as demonstrated by testing prior to being hired. Proficient with Microsoft Word and data entry required. Must work well in a team environment. Strong multi-tasking skills required. Excellent verbal communication skills required. Must be able to follow detail instructions precisely. Closes: 08-08-14.

DISHWASHER ~ [CRC-14-034] (Part-time) RE-ADVERTISEMENT - To provide a clean kitchen equipment and tableware and maintain kitchen work area in clean and orderly condition. Must be able to obtain a valid health card. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Training and/or three month work experience preferred. Closes: Open Until Filled.

CASHIER II - [CRC-14-036] (Gaming) (On-call) - To conduct cash transactions for the gaming enterprise. Class is responsible and accountable for the accurate control of all currency transactions between the gaming enterprise and general patrons, as well as in association with Cashier III & IV. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Minimum of six (6) months cash handling experience preferred. Requires three (3) months customer service experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, 10-key adding machine experience preferred, must be able to handle fast paced environment. Closes: 08-01-14.

CASHIER IV - [CRC-14-037] (Gaming) (Part-time & On-call) - To conduct cash transactions with cash handlers for the gaming enterprise. The class is responsible and accountable for vault operations, bank deposits, and accurate control of all currency transactions with the gaming enterprise. Requires high school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License (Subject to a full back ground check). Requires two (2) years of high volume cash handling experience. Three (3) months customer service experience required; excellent oral and written communication skills, 10-key adding machine preferred, must be able to handle fast paced environment. Gaming experience and six (6) months supervisory experience preferred. Closes: 08-01-14.

IITSE YE YE CASINO (KAMIAH, ID)

F&B CASH HANDLER - [IYY-14-039] (Gaming) (Part-time & On-call) - To greet and facilitate the guest experience by operating a point of sales system. Requires high school diploma or GED. CAMAS EXPRESS (WINCHESTER, ID)

CUSTODIAN - [CAM-14-040] (Part-time & On-call) - To be responsible for general cleaning and repairing equipment. The class works according to some procedures but decides how and when to do things under general supervision. Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires three months experience in the custodial or general maintenance field. Closes: 08-01-14.
