Teweepuu Community Center

VISION

The Nez Perce Tribe Teweepuu Community Center is a component of the Administration Department that provides recreational, sports, educational and cultural activities for all ages that protects our treaty rights and sovereignty, and takes control of our future.

GOALS

• Expand the facility to accommodate a gymnasium and exercise room for larger activities.

• Encourage community to be involved with center activities.

• Continue to develop a good working relationship with programs, agencies, and community.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

• Enforce the Community Center Management Plan.

• Manage and oversee the operations of the community center

• Plan, organize and coordinate activities for youth, adults and senior citizens.

• Coordinate with other agencies such as schools, organizations and city or county offices.

• Promote activities and resources to community-at-large by postings of announcements and monthly activity calendars.

• Assist in emergency situations as needed.

• Provide facility for meetings and/or annual events.
