Housekeeping

VISION

The Nez Perce Tribe Housekeeping Program is a component of the Administration Department that provides janitorial duties for all the tribal facilities.  Housekeeping strives to provide janitorial services in the most safe, efficient, and economical manner by performing with the highest standards of excellence.

GOALS

• To provide janitorial services at the highest quality for all tribal facilities.

• To provide open lines of communication within the department and the tribal programs we serve.

• To develop new methods of service and provide proper training for all staff.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

• empty wastebaskets.

• spot clean walls and doors.

• dust all flat services.

• check and fill dispensers.

• sanitize sinks, toilets, showers, urinals, light switches, counter tops and door knobs.

• clean mirrors, windows, door windows, tables and chairs.

• vacuum carpet areas (as needed, shampoo carpet).

• sweep, mop and buff floors (as needed, strip and wax floors).

• maintain sidewalks and breeze ways.
