VISION
The vision of the Enterprise
Executive Office is to attain
prosperity for the Nez Perce
Tribe and Tribal Enterprise
System through a comprehensive
range of profitable businesses.
GOALS
To fill key Enterprise
management positions (Gaming
General Manager, Controller,
Human Resource Director,
Director of Marketing, Director
of Surveillance, Senior Business
Analyst).
To implement preliminary
expansion plans for Clearwater
River Casino (CRC) and Express
II, including primary financing
for casino expansion project.
To complete details of
contract with Owner's
Representative.
Revitalization program -
$4.0M at CRC over the next 12
months including a $2.5M for 128
new gaming machines and $1.5M
for new project development.
Clear up all variances from
audit.
Complete for approval the
Enterprise Human Resource Manual
(HRM) and update the Marketing
Plan.
Purchase ATM machines for
both Casinos and Express II.
Final approval of the
Enterprise organizational
chart.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Enterprise Executive
Office is responsible for the
oversight and administration of
all tribal enterprises. This
includes, but is not limited to,
Enterprise staff supervision,
budgeting, training, strategic
planning, and providing fiscal
management reports to management
and elected officials.

Nez Perce Tribal
Enterprise Executive Office
The Nez Perce Tribal Enterprise
(NPTE) Executive Office oversees
the management of the businesses
operated by the Tribe as well as
the exploration of new
ventures. The NPTE has a vision
of being an entity comprised of
diverse businesses that are
economically functional.

Yvonne
Oberly
The new
Executive Officer for the Nez
Perce Tribal Enterprises is
Yvonne Oberly. Yvonne is an
enrolled member of the Nez Perce
Tribe and also descended from
the Osage and Comanche Nations
of Oklahoma. Ms. Oberly grew up
in Wapato, Washington on the
Yakama Indian Reservation where
she attended school, grades
K-12. Yvonne spent her childhood
summers in Kooskia with her
maternal grandparents, the late
Mose and Edna Thomas. She
attributes a lot of her
knowledge of the Nez Perce
culture and history to the time
she spent with her relatives in
the Kooskia and Kamiah area.
Yvonne earned a M.B.A. with an
emphasis in gaming from the
University of Nevada at Reno in
1994. She used her theoretical
knowledge while gaining
practical experience in the
gaming industry working for John
Ascuaga’s Nugget Casino in
Sparks, Nevada for 5 years.
Other organizations that Yvonne
has worked for include the Reno
Sparks Indian Colony, Northwest
Area Foundation, Indian Land
Tenure Foundation, and the
Yakama Nation NakNuWeSha
Program. Her work experience
includes owning a consulting
business, writing business
plans, feasibility studies,
marketing plans, grant/contract
administration, conference
coordination, and budget
formulation.
Yvonne is a member of the
National Congress of American
Indians (NCAI), Beta Gamma
Sigma, and serves on the Board
of Directors for the Talmaks
Presbyterian Indian Church Camp
Association.
