Pi-Nee-Waus Community Center
VISION
The Nez Perce Tribe Pi-Nee-Waus Community Center is a component of the Administration Department that provides recreation, sports, educational, and cultural activities for all ages that protect our treaty rights and sovereignty, and takes control of our future.
GOALS
enhance personal physical fitness.
promote youth activity to assist in eliminating destructive behavior.
coordinate with pow-wow groups and organizations.
promote the gathering of friends, families, and neighbors.
provide a safe and at will environment (facility).
promote the use and availability of the facility to the community.
encourage community involvement.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
enforce the community Center Management Plan.
manage and oversee the operations of the community center.
plan, organize, and coordinate activities for youth, adult, and senior citizens.
coordinate with other agencies such as schools, organizations, and municipal offices.
promote activities and resources to the community at-large such as posting announcements and activity calendars (monthly and weekly).
assist in emergency situations as needed.
