DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
The CASA program is based on the premise of accountability in oversight regarding the abused or neglected child's best interest and ensuring that the best interest is advocated in the courtroom and to further ensure the court order is upheld and followed under the auspices of the Nez Perce Judicial system. In putting forth the human element of advocacy, the CASA volunteer will be the respectful, compassionate voice in the courtroom on behalf of the abused and neglected child.
Business communication is an important factor in fostering the professional relationship with local, state and national CASA programs, along with more importantly, other Tribal CASA programs nationwide. This communication in itself presents an opportunity for sharing, learning and mentoring along with unconditional support for the full potential of the Nez Perce CASE program.
