Canada Trip: Tribal Members with criminal records or with a DUI and DWI may be denied access to cross the border, travel at your own discretion.

Drivers should have vehicle registration and proof of insurance in car with them as well.

To cross the Canada Border Adult:

Tribal I.D. Card (the new blue color)
and State certified birth certificate

or: Passport/or Passport Card if you have one

Bringing your own child under 18:

State Certified Birth Certificate
Tribal I.D.

Bringing grandchildren, nieces, nephew under 18:

Wed. October 4, 2017 travel to Fort Macleod, Alberta, Canada through Bonners Ferry Checkpoint
Thur., October 5, 2017 Memorial at 12:00 p.m. (address to be determined)
Fri., October 6, 2017 travel to Montana for Bears Paw Memorial through the Ft. Macleod Checkpoint
Sat. October 7, 2017 Bears Paw Memorial at 10:00 a.m.

Please provide your cell number. We will try to verify that voice service will work. We could potentially have a sign out sheet for cell phones that we could have on loan from Inland Cellular that will provide voice service.

Transporting smoked salmon, smoked jerky, kous kous, mountain tea is being clarified with the agencies. Kous Kous has set off the drug dogs while crossing the border and a full search of the car had to go underway.
