Biography for Tony Ingram

    My name is Tony and I'd like to tell you a little about myself. I am 54 years old and currently working as an intern  in Web Development here at the Nez Perce Tribe. I am a full time student at LCSC pursuing my BA in Web Development. My wife and I moved here 6 years ago from New Jersey- (Atlantic City area).

I was an Air Force Brat and grew up all over the world. At 17 I joined the Navy and spent 13 years serving our country as a Sonar Technician (Submarine Hunter). I was trained in the Electronics Repair field and when I was discharged I went to work for RCA, which became General Electric then Martin Marrietta and finally Lockheed Martin. I worked on manufacturing testing and development for the Aegis Radar System. When I got caught up in the downsize craze I went back to school to become a slot mechanic and worked in the casino industry in AC for around 6 years.

I landed a job working for the Atlantic City Expressway as a Control Technician for the next 6 years until Kathy and I decided that since our kids were grown we would move out here to be closer to my folks. I have been with the tribe about a year and a half and truly enjoy being here. I enjoy the extra interaction this job allows me. I get to meet so many folks. My hope is that once my internship is done that I might be able to be employed with the Tribe working in the IT Department. Either way I will always carry good memories and look forward to many more.
