Nez Perce Arts Council Biography

Scherri Greene is a marketing specialist and a member of the Nez Perce Tribe of Idaho.  Scherri has 20+ years in her family fishing business and knowledge of the fishing industry.  Previously, Scherri worked with the Department of Commerce-United States Census, Quinault Nation, and Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission.  She was a fellow with the American Indians for Opportunity-American Indian Ambassadors Program, a fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program class of 2005-2006, and fellow of the Rural Development Leadership Network.  Scherri served on the board of Earth Conservation Corp-Salmon Corp and as Vice-Chair of the Nez Perce Tribe Enterprise Board.  Scherri is currently serving on the Nez Perce Arts Council. She has an Associates of Arts Degree from Walla Walla Community College.
