PLEASE NOTE:  The Appaloosa Express Transit system will be closed every third Friday of each month for in-service and regular maintenance on the vehicles.

ROUTES

Fixed Route Brochure (effective 5/14/13)

Appaloosa Express Transit offers service to Lenore, Greer, Orofino, Kamiah, Kooskia, Peck, Culdesac, Lapwai, and Lewiston including the Clearwater River and Itse' Ye Ye casinos.  Appaloosa Express Transit connects with Lewiston Transit,  Valley Transit and Asotin Co. PTBA at the Lewiston Community Center.

Valley Transit offers Idaho Medicaid service in the LC Valley and to Moscow.  For more information on Valley Transit's services, please visit their website at http://www.r2transit.com.

On Demand Brochure (effective 04/01/11)

PLEASE SEE BROCHURE FOR 2011 PRICE CHANGES

On demand service is designed to provide necessary transportation when the fixed route system does not meet the needs of our riders.  A minimum of 72 hours notice is required prior to the departure date.

Riders are encouraged to utilize the fixed route service where possible.  Advance reservations for on demand service are necessary as appointments are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.  

MONTHLY & DAILY PASSES

Monthly passes are available from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Dispatch Office which is located at 120 Bever Grade, Lapwai, ID.  Monthly passes are not available during closure dates.

Daily passes are available from the drivers.  Drivers cannot make change.

PLEASE NOTE:  Beginning April 1, 2011, the Kooskia, Kamiah, Orofino area will increase to $45.00 per monthly pass and $2.00 for single rides.  Culdesac, Lapwai and Lewiston area will remain the same at $30.00 for monthly and $1.00 for single ride passes.
