The Education Dept. is recruiting for: VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION COUNSELOR HR-07-015 to evaluate, provide counseling, employment placement, advocacy and comprehensive quality case management services for disabled American Indian clients. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or closely related field (Master’s preferred). Prefer three years working with the unique Federal Indian relationship. Prefer three years of supervisory experience. Prefer certification as Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and certification to administer psychological and vocational testing instruments. Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s policy. (If your driver’s license is not issued from Idaho or Washington; a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the state your driver’s license is issued, is required with your application). The Dept. of Fisheries Resource Mgmt. is recruiting for: TECHNICIAN II HR-07-016(position is located in McCall, ID) to carry out assigned duties relating to the collection, compilation, analysis and written presentation of information as well as perform technical applications of fieldwork pertaining to fisheries and other natural resources of interest to the Nez Perce Tribe. Requires two years of college education or 48 credits and three years of relevant experience is equivalent to one year college. Requires one-year of related experience to project needs and six-month leadership experience. Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s policy. The Law Enforcement Department is recruiting for: SPILLMAN APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR HR-06-007 to coordinate the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training of the SPILLMAN software.  Requires Bachelor’s degree, vocational technical degree, or specialized training equivalent to satisfactory completion of four years of college education with emphasis in computers or closely related field. Requires five years experience in Information Systems. Must have one year supervisory experience and one year cuff accounting or budget maintenance. Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s policy. (If your driver’s license is not issued from Idaho or Washington; a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the state your driver’s license is issued, is required with your application). The Nez Perce Tribal Executive Committee is recruiting for: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HR-06-009 to provide executive level management of the governmental operations of the Nez Perce Tribe, including the departments of Administration, Natural Resources, Social Services, Education and Fisheries. Requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Business Management or related field, with seven years executive level management experience and three years supervisory experience. This position requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s Policy. .  (If your driver’s license is not issued from Idaho or Washington; a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the state your driver’s license is issued, is required with your application). Must submit to full disclosure of any personal business that may present a conflict of interest to the Nez Perce Tribe; and must submit to intensive criminal and fiscal background check. The Dept. of Natural Resource Water Resource Program is recruiting for: HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE TEAM (HERT) WORKER HR-060012(This position is On Call & Part Time) to respond to environmental hazards and chemical spills. Requires high school diploma or GED with the ability to obtain an OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification. Hazardous materials response experience helpful but not required. Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s Policy. The Education Dept. Adult Education Program is recruiting for: INSTRUCTOR II HR-06-013 to serve as an instructor of record of college level course work using distant education technology.  Requires a Master’s degree in discipline of interest to the strategic direction of Northwest Indian College and Nez Perce Tribe partnership. Requires over one year and up to and including two years of teaching at the college level; and teaching Native American students, desirable. Requires experience developing and teaching distance learning courses is required and minimum of one year supervisory experience.  Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s policy.
